Savage Visits UVa, Speaks With Bennett

Kethan Savage took an unofficial visit to the University of Virginia, one of at least three high major programs to express interest in the Episcopal (Fairfax, VA) junior guard. The 6-3, 190-pound prospect, who visited the last week in April, watched workouts and spoke with the coaches, including head coach Tony Bennett.

“Basically, he said he is looking at me as a combo guard,” said Savage. “He likes my athleticism. He said he is going to follow me through the summer, talk to me recruiting-wise, and he hopes I can come back and visit. I didn’t get to tour the entire campus because I had to get back to school. I’m supposed to go back later to see the entire campus. This time, they had little workouts, so I watched them do skill drills. I followed them to the weight room. I saw the arena and the training facilities.”
