Fork Union Military Academy (VA) offensive lineman Ryan Doull is the latest commitment in the University of Virginia’s 2012 recruiting class. The 6’3″, 305-pound prospect traveled to Charlottesville this afternoon and decided the time was right to commit.
“Ryan went over around 2, met with everybody, and decided the best thing for him to do was to go to Virginia,” Fork Union postgraduate head coach John Shuman said. “We’re real happy about the situation.”
Doull attended All Saints Catholic School in Kanata, Ontario, Canada, last fall before transferring to FUMA in January. He will attend the Virginia prep school for the full 2011/2012 academic year but will suit up for Shuman’s postgraduate football squad.
Connecticut, Miami, and Virginia Tech also took a look at Doull, but UVa was the first and only school to offer.
