2013 Report: OL/DL Teller Has Five Offers

Liberty (Bealeton, VA) rising junior Wyatt Teller is set to start on both sides of the line this season, at left offensive tackle and defensive tackle. Measuring in at 6’5″, 253 pounds and boasting a wing span around 6’7″ or 6’8″, Teller has caught the attention of major FBS coaches despite not attending any camps this summer. In fact, five BCS schools have already verbally offered the promising lineman.

“He has [been offered by] Boston College, Virginia, Virginia Tech, N.C. State and Tennessee,” Eagles head coach Tommy Buzzo said.

“He didn’t camp anywhere. All of this is based off film and people having the chance to see him in person in the spring. He has zero fat on his body. He’s an outstanding looking young man. Every school that had the chance to see him working out or doing agilities in the spring has really liked him.”

Teller earned first-team all-Region II and VHSCA honorable mention Group AA all-state honors as a sophomore in 2010. He started at defensive end last season and showed well there, but over the course of this offseason has grown into an interior defensive lineman.
