More ACC Schools Interested In Clark

Maryland was represented at King’s Fork High School (Suffolk, VA) last week. UVa linebackers coach Vincent Brown was there about a few weeks ago. Letters are pouring in from schools throughout the ACC, some in the SEC, and more. Junior Charles Clark is certainly garnering a lot of attention, and Bulldogs head coach Joe Jones believes the talented prospect will add to the two offers he now holds.

“Maryland seems real interested. They like him a lot,” Jones said. “Based the amount of letters I get from Miami, I’d say they are real interested. They send a lot of letters his way. All the ACC schools have sent letters.”

The 6’0″, 185-pound Clark is open to all schools, Jones says. But he does like Virginia and Virginia Tech, the two schools that have offered so far. UVa offered in June before Virginia Tech followed suit at its July 9 camp.

“He’s funny. One day he’ll wear UVa clothes. The next day, he has Virginia Tech clothes,” Jones said. “I can’t get a read on him [in terms of a possible in-state favorite].”
