Lambert Ready For UVa

In just two weeks, senior Greyson Lambert will graduate from Wayne County High School (Jesup, GA). He’ll enroll at the University of Virginia in mid-January, fulfilling a goal he had set when he committed to the Hoos in August. Lambert will be the second straight quarterback prospect to enroll early, as David Watford did so out of the 2011 class.

“Basically, the process is over,” Lambert answered when asked if he was all set to enroll at UVa in January. “I’m scheduled to start classes on the 18th [of January]. I’ll probably get up there on the 15th. On the 16th and 17th, I’ll go to a sit-in with professors and we’ll talk about the situation and getting acclimated.”

Lambert added: “I’m thrilled…very excited. This past visit, I really just kind of took it all in and really got a feel for the school. I got to hang out with some of the players after the game. I took it all in. I’m excited.”

The visit Lambert is referring to is an official visit he made to UVa the weekend of the Duke game (November 12). A freshman offensive lineman and red-shirt sophomore quarterback were prevalent in the 6’5″, 210-pound signal caller’s experience.
