Checking In On The Stith Brothers

UVa officially offered 6’6″, 200-pound forward Brandan Stith last summer, and at the time the offer carried the condition that Stith would prep for one year following his Brunswick (Lawrenceville, VA) career. TheSabre.com caught up with Brunswick head coach Bryant Stith to ask if anything has changed with respect to Virginia’s offer to Brandan, who is averaging 20 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks through 11 games.

Bryant Stith is honored during the Last Ball at U-Hall ceremony in 2006.

“As of right now, it’s still much the same as what was offered to him over the summer,” said Stith, Brandan’s father and one of the best players in University of Virginia basketball history. “Brandan is fine with it. It’s an option he’s exploring. Right now he’s focused on the season. He’s the heart and soul of our team. He’s the engine that makes everything go for us. I hope he’ll continue to lead us back to the Siegel Center.”
