Good Counsel Prospects Visit

Three Good Counsel (Olney, MD) juniors — linebacker Dorian O’Daniel , defensive back Kirk Garner and wide receiver/defensive back Andre Levrone — made their way to UVa’s grounds last Saturday.

Multiple outlets report that 4-star recruit O’Daniel enjoyed his experience, his first time back in Charlottesville since attending the UVa/Virginia Tech game last fall. There is top competition for the 6’1″, 205-pound prospect, who boasts over 20 major FBS offers including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and many more. Per Good Counsel football’s Twitter feed, the talented athlete heads to Clemson for a visit on March 3rd and will also go to Michigan in March.

This will be a long, competitive race — O’Daniel plans to announce his decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl — so there is time for the Cavaliers to continue to work up the top prospect’s list. This past weekend seems to have been a good place to start.

Levrone, a 6’1″, 185-pound wide receiver recruit, had high praise about his experience. On Twitter, he wrote: “#UVA was great..they have a lot to offer..they will definitely stay in the race till the end.”
