Hoos Ready For Spring Practice

Mike London and the Hoos are ready to get back to work.

The Virginia football team begins spring practice in one week with a morning session on Monday, March 19. The mission for the 15 spring practices? The goal is to build on the 8-5 record and appearance in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. That won’t be easy with departing starters at center, wide receiver, fullback, defensive end, defensive tackle, linebacker, safety, cornerback, punter and kicker.

Of course, that’s the nature of college football where consistent roster turnover is part of the challenge. Cavalier coach Mike London said during a pre-practice media gathering that he’s seen a heightened level of anticipation in offseason workouts the past two months.
