The University of Virginia has landed a verbal commitment from St. Christopher’s (Richmond, VA) rising senior defensive tackle/tight end Jack English . It was an easy decision for English, who chose the Hoos over an offer from Virginia Tech one day after receiving a scholarship offer from head coach Mike London.
“When I was a sophomore, [St. Christopher’s head coach Michael] Turner helped me come up with criteria of things I wanted in a school. Virginia pretty much was a perfect fit,” English said.
