Kirk Garner lines up here at receiver, but he’ll play corner at UVa
UVa football’s impressive recruiting roll continues. Today, Good Counsel (Olney, MD) cornerback Kirk Garner verbally committed to the Hoos over offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Florida State, Maryland, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and West Virginia, among others.
The 5’11”, 180-pound rising senior informed head coach Mike London of the news in person, while on an unofficial visit at UVa. He had previously narrowed his list to Michigan (no offer), Michigan State, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee and Virginia.
