The University of Virginia football program played host to Olympia (Orlando, FL) senior Shawn Curtis this past weekend. The 6’5″, 275-pound offensive tackle began his official visit on Saturday morning and returned home Monday morning. Monday night, he took some time to reflect on his first ever experience in Charlottesville.

Asked for his general thoughts on UVa following the trip, Curtis answered: “Great coaching staff, great program, great academics, and a great place to live.”

On Saturday, Curtis watched UVa take on Louisiana Tech.

“I was seeing how the fans get into the game, and just how the team played,” Curtis said when asked what he wanted to see while watching the Cavaliers in action. “I enjoyed the atmosphere.”
