Alpharetta (GA) senior offensive lineman George Adeosun made an official visit to the University of Virginia the weekend of January 18-20. The 6’6″, 290-pound prospect left Charlottesville with a scholarship offer, his first from a major FBS program. Signing Day is next Wednesday, and Virginia is no longer the only FBS option Adeosun has to consider. In fact, the standout senior now boasts quite a few.

In the week immediately following the Virginia official, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Purdue came through with scholarships for Adeosun, who had a breakout senior season after playing only a limited amount on the varsity squad his junior year. This week, Adeosun has scored offers from Arizona State, Georgia Tech, and Tennessee. In what is news that broke today, the University of Georgia has now offered.

Adeosun is scheduled make an official visit to Arizona State this weekend, one week after taking an official to Oklahoma.

Adeosun initially committed to William & Mary back in December, but in light of the new options he decided to re-open his recruitment. A decision isn’t expected to come until just before or on Signing Day.
