Facing a let-down trap game at Boston College, which has played everyone tough it its home gym, the Virginia men’s basketball team couldn’t back up a win over Duke with a road victory at BC. Of course, that’s become a theme for this year’s collection of Cavaliers. What’s the difference between the John Paul Jones Arena and the road? Home Vs. Away

The story of Virginia’s ACC season has unfolded as a Dickens-inspired tale. In Charlottesville, the Cavaliers have been virtually invincible, particularly in ACC play. They own an 8-0 league record at home and have won those games by an average of 16.75 points per game. Similar to other league teams, UVa has struggled on the road where it is 2-6. Those six losses have come by an average of 6.8 points per game.
