As a junior, Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA) running back Jordan Ellis shared carries but still ended up with almost 900 yards rushing and nine touchdowns. The 5’11”, 210-pound Ellis entered his senior year knowing he would be the team’s primary ball-carrier, and he has responded with a strong start that has included three games of over 100 yards rushing. Most importantly, Peachtree Ridge is 4-0 following last week’s 31-30 win over Mill Creek, in which Ellis rambled for 143 yards and three scores.
“We put in a lot of hard work this offseason. And we bought into the system. We practice hard and believe in the system,” Ellis said of his team’s performance thus far.
