For all Josh Ball knew, if he performed well at the University of Virginia’s one-day camp this past Sunday it was possible he could return home with a scholarship offer from the Cavaliers. The 6’6”, 310-pound rising junior did earn an offer from Virginia… it just came a little sooner than expected.
Ball, a product of Stafford High School (Stafford, VA), arrived early Sunday morning, before camp began. It was then that he received the good news.
“So excited. I can’t even tell you how excited,” Ball said when asked for his reaction to the UVa offer.
“I’ve always been a fan of UVa. Going to games, basketball games, everything.”
