Maury (Norfolk, VA) sophomore point guard Matt Coleman made his way to UVa this past Saturday to see the Cavaliers take on Duke. What were his thoughts on his latest experience in Charlottesville?

“The atmosphere was great,” Coleman said. “It was a great game. Two teams competing with well-coached players with Coach K and Tony Bennett. The environment was more than I expected it to be. It was better to be there to witness it. I could see myself playing in that atmosphere.”

Prior to the game, the 6’2” standout caught up with head coach Tony Bennett, who offered Coleman a scholarship in June of 2013.

Bennett “talked to me before the game. He said he was happy I could be there. He’s always pleased when I can make it there,” said Coleman, who has taken numerous trips to Virginia.
