To say L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA) senior shooting guard Kenny Williams is a hot commodity is probably an understatement.
“Name a school and they have probably been in touch,” Bird head coach Troy Manns said.
As a result of Shaka Smart leaving VCU to be head coach at Texas, Williams asked for and has been granted a release from the letter of intent he signed with the Rams last November. Coaches from all across the country have contacted the talented shooting guard, who was a highly recruited prospect at the time of his original commitment to VCU.
The 6’4” senior will be very busy in the coming days, beginning with a trip to Chapel Hill on Sunday.
