A breakout junior season at DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD) put class of 2016 combo guard Markelle Fultz on the national scene. The 6’5” rising senior – he has grown about two inches over the course of the past year – now boasts scholarship offers from top programs throughout the country. He also earned an invite to the 2015 NBPA Top 100 Camp.

Fultz was pleased with how he performed following the first round of games at this week’s event.

“I think I did pretty good, getting my teammates involved on the fast break, scoring when I needed to,” Fultz said.

A confident player, Fultz believes he “can take anybody on the court.” Indeed, this week he has shown the ability to create his own shot, get to the basket and score, and knock down outside shots. He also has impressed with the tenacity he has shown on the defensive end.
