Chukwu Visits

Paschal Chukwu was in Charlottesville this past weekend for a visit to the University of Virginia, one of a handful of schools the former Providence College center is considering transferring to. Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports that Chukwu is now in East Lansing, Michigan, visiting Michigan State.

Prior to last weekend, the 7’2″ center had made visits to Nebraska and Kansas, and reportedly to Iona as well. Syracuse is another school getting consideration from Chukwu, who attended Providence for only one year before deciding to transfer. He will have to sit out the 2015/2016 season at whichever school he transfers to, but he will have three years of eligibility remaining beginning in the 2016/2017 season.

The Spartans have had a good week already, landing class of 2016 small forward Josh Langford of Alabama.
