The William & Mary game was a light event in terms of recruiting visitors. There were four future Cavaliers in attendance, though.
Fresh off of leading Pope John XXIII (Sparta, N.J.) to its first win of the 2015 season, senior quarterback and Virginia commitment Sonny Abramson made his way to Charlottesville on Saturday. He was joined by fellow UVa class of 2016 commits Cole Blackman, Andrew Trainer and Matt Terrell.
Blackman, a product of Glen Allen (VA), is a wide receiver prospect. St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA) standout Andrew Trainer is a tight end recruit, while Terrell, who attends Liberty Christian Academy (Lynchburg, VA), is an outside linebacker/defensive end prospect.
6’0″, 165-pound wide receiver Niko Rice and 5’9″, 190-pound tailback Devin Darrington, both juniors out of John Carroll (Bel Air, MD), were the only uncommitted visitors we have confirmed so far. Both players took to Twitter regarding Saturday’s experience.
