National Signing Day is next Wednesday, February 3, and this weekend is important as Virginia football looks to close out class of 2016 recruiting in strong fashion.
Since our last update, former UVA commit Andrew Trainer has committed to Illinois. This news is not surprising in the least. All signs pointed to Trainer not having a spot in Virginia’s class after Bronco Mendenhall took over. Heading into this final weekend before National Signing Day, Virginia has 18 verbal commitments in total. Four other prospects enrolled earlier this month.
