Rising Junior SG/SF Noah Kirkwood Claims UVA Offer

According to the official Twitter page of the Brookwood Elite AAU program, 6’7″ wing guard/forward Noah Kirkwood has received scholarship offers from Virginia, Texas and Vanderbilt.

Kirkwood, a rising junior out of Ashbury College in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and his Brookwood Elite 17U teammates headed to the Adidas Gauntlet Finale in South Carolina this past week. Kirkwood made 56.8-percent of his field goals (29-of-51), including 4-of-9 (44.4-percent) from beyond the arc and 21-of-25 (84-percent) from the foul line, in five games last week. He averaged 16.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, helping Brookwood Elite to a 3-2 record.

247Sports reports that George Washington, St. Bonaventure and Wichita State previously offered Kirkwood, who made Team Canada Men’s 17U roster earlier this year. By our count Virginia has now offered nine perimeter prospects in the class of 2018, including point guard Darius Garland, point guard Jahvon Quinerly, combo guard Prentiss Hubb, combo guard Coby White, combo guard Brandon Williams, shooting guard Keldon Johnson, Kirkwood, wing Nassir Little, and forward Zion Williamson.
