As expected, Buena Park (CA) offensive tackle Ryan Nelson is on Grounds on an official visit. The 6’5”, 260-pound senior is expected to stay in Charlottesville through Sunday. This visit comes on the heels of an official Nelson made to Arizona the previous weekend. Stay tuned to The Sabre for Nelson’s reaction to his first ever trip to UVA.
In addition to Nelson, The Sabre.com confirmed that four Virginia class of 2017 commits — quarterback Lindell Stone, defensive end John Kirven, athlete Terrell Jana, and defensive back Germane Crowell Jr. — were on hand to see Virginia’s win over Central Michigan. Stone, Kirven, and Jana hail from Woodberry Forest (VA), while Crowell plays for his father and former Hoo Germane Crowell at Carver (Winston-Salem, N.C.).
