In need of good news, the UVA football program has received some in the form of a 2017 Class commit.
In fantastic fashion, Bethel (Hampton, VA) senior Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah announced he has verbally committed to the Cavaliers. The announcement comes on the final day of his UVA official visit.

While he has experience playing a variety of positions, including both safety positions and two linebacker spots, at Bethel, Owusu-Koramoah is being recruited by Virginia as a linebacker. The 6’2″, 200-pound senior is the third potential linebacker the Cavaliers have recruited in this 2017 Class, joining Highland Park (Dallas, TX) standout Matt Gahm and St. Albans (Washington, D.C.) prospect Charles Snowden. Gahm and Owusu-Koramoah were both in Charlottesville this weekend.
NC State, Rutgers, Temple, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, and Washington State are notable other schools that offered Owusu-Koramoah, who becomes UVA’s 20th commitment in the class of 2017.
