Virginia football coach Bronco Mendenhall said a second flurry of commitments was possible after the Hoos picked up four commits in three days last month. While UVA continues to wait on its next verbal, it isn’t waiting to get more lines in the offer water.
Over the past 10 days, at least seven recruits have Tweeted about new offers from the Cavaliers. Let’s take a quick look.
Tyler Davis
Davis is the latest prospect from Florida to catch Virginia’s eye. He plays at Wekiva for former UVA player Rich Bedesem. He sits at a major position of need as a defensive tackle and is listed at 6’2” and 268 pounds. He is a class of 2019 recruit.

Noah Shattuck
With Mendenhall clearly stating the plan to take as many as seven offensive linemen in each of the two classes, it’s not surprising to see a 2018 offer to a player like Shattuck. He’s a 6’6” 295-pound guard/tackle out of Alabama. He plays at Enterprise High.
