Mount St. Mary’s transfer Miles Wilson informed Scout.com Director of Basketball Recruiting Evan Daniels last night that he is reopening his recruitment. This comes exactly one week after Daniels reported that the 6’5”, 190-pound wing guard/forward was down to Auburn and Miami.

Daniels reported on May 19 that Wilson landed scholarship offers from Virginia and Virginia Tech. Auburn, Miami and Penn State offered previously.
Wilson, a graduate of Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD), averaged 11.8 points and 3.9 rebounds while playing 28.9 minutes per game as a freshman in 2016/2017. He helped Mount St. Mary’s to a 20-16 overall record that included a trip to the NCAA Tournament, where “The Mount” defeated New Orleans in the opening round before falling to Villanova in the Round of 64. Wilson scored 17 points against UNO and 22 in the loss to the Wildcats.
Whichever Division 1 school he transfers to, Wilson will have to sit out the 2017/2018 season. He’ll then have three years of eligibility remaining beginning in 2018/2019.
