Four-star Shooting Guard AJ Reeves Includes UVA On Final List

The University of Virginia has made the final four of consensus 4-star shooting guard AJ Reeves. Reeves, a 6’5″, 180-pound rising senior out of Brimmer and May School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, is also still considering Louisville, Providence and Villanova.

Rivals (No. 54), 247Sports (No. 59), and Scout (No. 81) rank Reeves among the Top 100 overall prospects in the nation in the class of 2018. The standout sharpshooter has averaged 12.1 points (55.2% FG, 45.7% 3PFG) and 2.3 rebounds per game for Mass Rivals on the 2017 Adidas AAU circuit. Adam Finkelstein of ESPN and the New England Recruiting Report described Reeves as a “big guard and shot-maker.”

Virginia offered Reeves and his Mass Rivals teammate, David Duke, on May 1 this year. Both players stopped by UVA for an unofficial visit last June and both are expected to participate at the 2017 NBPA Top 100 Camp held at John Paul Jones Arena.
