Joe Harris Produces Another Highlight In Fourth (And Best) NBA Season

Joe Harris scored a career-high 30 points on 10-of-12 shooting (6-of-7 from 3) for the Brooklyn Nets in a home loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday (March 25). This is the latest 2017/2018 season highlight for the former Virginia Cavalier star, whose fourth season in the National Basketball Season has been his best.

Harris began his career in Cleveland, which selected him in the 2nd Round (33rd overall) in the 2014 NBA Draft. The 6’6” wing played 56 games with the Cavaliers in the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons combined. He averaged 2.7 points and 9.7 minutes per game in 51 games as a rookie.

The Brooklyn Nets signed Harris to a two-year minimum deal in 2016. The former Hoo delivered, averaging 8.2 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. He averaged 21.9 minutes per game in 52 games played that year.

So far this season, Harris has established new career highs in minutes per game (25.1 in 71 games), points per game (10.3), rebounds per game (3.3), field goal shooting percentage (47.5%), and 3-point field goal percentage (40.2%). Here are some other highlights from the 26-year old …
