Virginia head men’s basketball coach Tony Bennett traveled to Hershey (PA) on Monday to scout two targets in class of 2019 recruiting.
Rivals and 247Sports 3-star guard Maceo Austin scored 29 points — including 16 in the first quarter — while 4-star power forward/center Oscar Tshiebwe poured in 24 points and pulled down 19 rebounds as Kennedy Catholic crushed Lourdes Regional, 78-36, in the Pennsylvania Class A state championship game. Both Tshiebwe and Austin claim offers from Virginia.
West Virginia’s Bob Huggins, who was in attendance Monday, has also reportedly offered both prospects.
