Virginia Football Targets Hubbard, Vimahi Announce Commitment Dates

University of Virginia football class of 2019 targets JaQuay Hubbard and Enokk Vimahi revealed commitment dates on Wednesday (July 25).

Hubbard, a 6’5”, 320-pound offensive line prospect out of Sharpsville (PA), lists a final four of Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and Virginia. On September 1, we’ll find out which school he will attend.

Hubbard has taken official visit to Mississippi State and Virginia.

Barring a change, Vimahi’s decision will come much later. The 6’5”, 280-pound offensive line recruit out of Kahuku (HI) tweets that he will announce his commitment at the 2019 Polynesian Bowl, which takes place on Saturday, January 19. His current top eight consists of Mississippi, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, UCLA, USC, Virginia, and Washington.

Last week, speedy 6’2” athlete prospect Peyton Powell, who is being recruited by the Hoos as a quarterback, announced he will make his college pledge on August 13. The top 10 contenders include Arkansas, Baylor, Illinois, Mississippi, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Texas, TCU, Texas Tech, and Virginia.

The Permian (Odessa, TX) rising senior has taken official visits to Virginia and Ohio State. The latter is considered the heavy favorite according to the 247Sports Crystal Ball feature.
