Virginia Men’s Basketball To Play In 2020 Wooden Legacy Tournament

Fresh off of capturing their seventh consecutive November tournament title, the University of Virginia men’s basketball program announced next year’s November plans. UVA is one of four teams in the 2020 Wooden Legacy field, joining Georgetown, Kansas and UCLA.

The Wooden Legacy tournament takes place Thanksgiving week and is held at Anaheim Arena in Anaheim, California. Eight teams are slated to play in this year’s event, which begins Thanksgiving Day. Providence/Long Beach State, Wake Forest/Charleston, UCF/Pennsylvania and Arizona/Pepperdine are the first round games.

The Charlottesville Daily Progress reports that the tournament is reducing to four games next year.
