Virginia Football Vs. Louisville Matchup Rescheduled For November 14

The University of Virginia football program was scheduled to host ACC cross-division rival Louisville this Saturday, November 7, in Scott Stadium. Because of positive COVID-19 tests and quarantining measures within the Cardinals’ program, the game has been pushed back one week and is now tentatively scheduled for Saturday, November 14.

Originally scheduled for an 8 p.m. kickoff, UVA vs. Louisville is now scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff next Saturday. The ACC Network will televise.

“We are taking a precautionary measure to pause due the number of student-athletes and staff that have been impacted by the virus,” University of Louisville Vice-President/Director of Athletics Vince Tyra said. “With Virginia and us both having a bye week on November 14, we are fortunate to reschedule the game for that date. It also avails us a chance to gauge any further spread of the virus. Test results from both Friday and Sunday will dictate when we return to team activities. We appreciate the ACC and Virginia working with us at this time.”
