Virginia Football Recruit Aidan Ryan Excited To Take The Field For Senior Season

Aidan Ryan admits his senior year at James Monroe High School (Fredericksburg, VA) “has been tough because I haven’t been able to do the things a senior would if it was a normal year,” but the soon-to-be University of Virginia student-athlete has tried to stay positive.

“I have to remind myself that there is no need to be upset about something I can’t change,” Ryan added. “I will say that because I know there’s not too many things left for me in high school. I’m extremely eager to get onto grounds at UVA and start a new journey.”

There have been some highlights for Ryan this school year, such as signing a letter of intent with the Hoos during Division 1 football’s Early Signing Period in December.

“Even though it’s been such a long time since signing, it’s still one of the best days of my life,” said Ryan, who verbally committed to the Cavaliers in May of 2020. “I finally knew that I was locked in with UVA and it’s the beginning of a really important journey in my life.”
