Offensive Tackle Prospect McKale Boley Looking Forward To Virginia Visit

Virginia football has a clear need on the offensive line, one that new head coach Tony Elliott is looking to address through the transfer portal as well as on the high school recruiting front. Oak Grove High School (Hattiesburg, MS) senior offensive tackle prospect McKale Boley is one of the prospects on UVA’s radar.

Since decommitting from Colorado in late November, Boley has claimed five new scholarship offers: Tulane, Jacksonville State, Virginia, Akron and Florida International. The 6’6”, 296-pound senior plans to sign the first day of Division 1 football recruiting’s Regular Signing Period, which begins Wednesday, February 2.

“Right now, my recruitment is still open to anyone,” Boley said. “I have a visit on [January] 21st to Virginia and was supposed to have a visit to Jacksonville State on the 14th, but not going anymore.”

Virginia’s recruitment has been spearheaded by Garett Tujague, who served as the Cavaliers’ offensive line coach the past six seasons under Bronco Mendenhall and is being retained by Elliott. Boley claimed an offer from the Hoos on January 3.
