The Virginia football team begins its first season under new coach Tony Elliott in a little more than two months. The slate features non-conference opponents from the Sun Belt and Big Ten in addition to Richmond from the Colonial Athletic Association.
The first two home games both welcome in-state teams at Scott Stadium. After facing the Spiders in the opener and Illinois on the road, the Hoos host Old Dominion on Sept. 17.
