The Virginia football team travels to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech for a Thursday night game on Oct. 20. The Cavaliers enter the contest off of an open date on the schedule and this is the one road trip sandwiched in the middle of five home games.
You can’t find a closer series in UVA history as the two teams are tied currently at 21-21-1 all time. Last season’s matchup ended up with the Hoos winning 48-40 as the Yellow Jackets attempted a late comeback. GT has won five straight times against Virginia in its home stadium.
