Kickoff for the Virginia-Virginia Tech rivalry game is almost here so TheSabre.com Podcast takes an early look at the Hokies plus breaks down the UVA football team’s potential stars and sleepers at each position. Editor Kris Wright, Associate Editor Chris Horne, and host Jeff Sweatman also look at the possibilities for the Virginia basketball team and the latest hoops recruiting news.

The episode wraps up with the music segment focused on 90’s soundtracks. That idea spun – pun intended – out of a recent list from Spin Magazine: The Best 25 Soundtrack Albums Of The 1990s. Sweatman talks about an Eddie Vedder song on one of those 90’s soundtracks and a moment related to another soundtrack from the movie Into The Wild. Earlier this summer the bus featured in that film was airlifted out of Alaska. There are some YouTube videos from the selected music segment of the week plus a Spotify playlist that the host put together for this episode. You can join The Corner message board thread inspired by the music of this segment here.
