TheSabre.com Fan Friday: Virginia Spring Game Time!

The Virginia football team hosts the first Blue-White Spring Game of the Tony Elliott era on Saturday at Scott Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free for the event.

Elliott said that he thinks it is important to have a good crowd on hand for the Spring Game because it helps players and coaches simulate a real game day. The Cavaliers are doing things around the game to make it fan friendly as well. Elliott purposely brought back the “Wahoo Walk” so that fans can engage with the team up close before the game. The Hoos will walk in through the stadium’s southeast gate from Whitehead Road, taking the tree-lined walkway between the East A and South lots. There are also pregame activities and postgame autographs on the field.

The weather forecast for Charlottesville on Saturday is mostly sunny with temperatures in the high 70’s around kickoff.
