While competing as a track and field and cross country student-athlete at the University of Virginia, UVA alumnus Mary Blankemeier co-founded a non-profit “Run Charlottesville” along with Maddie Rennyson that has grown into “Run Your City” with multiple chapters. The Charlottesville division continues to thrive with current student-athletes at the helm.
