Want to go see a Major League Baseball game this summer? Here’s a great chance to do that with fellow Hoos.
Virginia fans have a chance to kick off the summer in a fun way through UVA Day with the Washington Nationals. Washington welcomes the Philadelphia Phillies to Nationals Park on Saturday, June 3 for the designated UVA Day.
The game is scheduled for 4:05 p.m.
Activities with the event include:
- A pregame social across the street from the stadium
- Fan hospitality table by the social
- Special UVA seating sections
- Fellow Hoos throughout the day’s activities
- USingers will sing the National Anthem

Virginia and the Nationals are connected through baseball stars Ryan Zimmerman and Sean Doolittle, who both played on the 2019 World Series Championship team. Zimmerman had his jersey retired last year by both UVA and Washington on separate occasions.
