While the official start to the sports year for Virginia athletics is still a few weeks away, there have been plenty of things on fans’ minds during the summer break.
The Virginia football team kicks off its season in approximately 50 days when Richmond comes to Scott Stadium on Saturday, August 31 for a 6 p.m. kickoff. The UVA men’s and women’s basketball teams are practicing during the summer session. The Olympics are a opens later this month.
