Why Should You Join?

TheSabre.com is celebrating its 25th Anniversary year. Originally VirginiaFootball.com and VirginiaBasketball.com, the site officially became a business and adopted its new name in 1998.

The site begins that milestone year under new ownership, including two University of Virginia alumni, including site editor Kris Wright. This makes TheSabre.com a fully independent site once again. In order for TheSabre.com’s future to be as bright as its past, we will need the support of fans more than ever. That’s where you come in! 

Friends Of The Sabre members will receive reward incentives mentioned above (subject to change). Friends also will be supporting new updates on the site and will be directly supporting things like message board maintenance, Name, Image, Likeness opportunities for student-athletes, internship programs for current students, travel costs to postseason contests, potential future event costs, and more.

Any and all donations help and this will be set up as a recurring gift option. Members can cancel at any time.
