I had a new line run when I remodeled a kitchen. Only thing on it was an outlet for the microwave. Would trip off at the panel after about 5 minutes when microwave was not running. Electrician and I replaced outlet, breaker and finally pulled new line out. It had a super-small nick in it that appeared to be from catching on a sharp edge of a steel beam. It was just shorting out slowly.
