If that's so, its not "healing" in season, but might not impact play much


going forward from here. I had the exact injury you describe. The pain and swelling went away pretty quick, like maybe a week. Strength seemed to fully return in about a month or so. Until I had surgery, the issue was instability - any little thing could re-dislocate. What I don't know is how much his pinkie is "involved" in how he grips and throws a football.

Side note: I didn't realize how important the left pinkie is until I took up golf
