Don't know how scholly finances work. I have had same question Regarding WF


tennis with its all foreign lineup and and WF annual cost exceeding $60K

I think Baylor has a huge endowment (Texas oil money) plus Mark Hurd and his Oracle $$$ behind the tennis program. Since it probably gives heavy scholarship help to its non athletes in the form of 'academic' schollies, sort of like the Ivy league and D3 LAX schools do. Thus some tennis players players may get these 'academic' schollies and the rest split the 4.5 men's tennis schollies allowed by the NCAA.
I have always thought this should be against the NCAA scholarship rules, but it may not be.
