So, how close is it exactly?

SEC plays a significantly tougher bowl schedule.
UF is well ahead of FSU and UGa is as far ahead of GIT as Clemson is ahead of S.C., and Kentucky gets to wipe L'ville off their shoe.

Let's agree that Clemson is slightly ahead of Bama as a program at this point. And let's put instate rivals aside.

What ACC programs line up one for one with UGa, LSU, UF, and aTm? Add in Kentucky, Miss State, Auburn, and Missouri, and it doesn't seem to get any better for the ACC with respect to depth. Does it? Going to build a case that L'ville, UNC, FSU, and VPISU carry the day?
