This year it would've been close to a pick em on a neutral per S&P,

maybe Ohio St. -1. I don't think ND was overrated at all this year, about #5 was right. I don't begrudge them getting in either, there was just a huge difference between Alabama and Clemson and the next tier down.

Agree Ohio St. is the stronger program, but while it's true tOSU has a recruiting edge, I'd ascribe the superiority to Meyer being a much better coach overall than Kelly.

Here's the recruiting ranking differential:

2018 - tOSU 2, ND 10
2017 - tOSU 2, ND 10
2016 - tOSU 4, ND 15
2015 - tOSU 7, ND 13

So they're more talented, sure, but ND is plenty talented. They just don't have Urban Meyer. Or Dabo, whose recruiting looks closer to ND than tOSU.

2018 - Clem 7
2017 - Clem 16
2016 - Clem 11
2015 - Clem 9
