Today's amusement in business.


We have a large national tenant in one of our centers, and that tenant blew a deadline for giving a certain notice under their lease. It's not subject to serious dispute, although they're disputing it. If we're right, this will cost them large coin. It may wind up in court, and I will cheerfully present our position there, because it's not a close call.

I have one tiny heartbeat of compassion -- some poor person on the other side, a paralegal, an assistant director of lease administration, maybe an attorney -- dropped the ball on this. And they are going to suffer, unless I miss my guess.
