Top 25 ACC recruits- #7 Juwon Briggs

Snippet on Briggs-

High school: Walnut Hills (Cincinnati, Ohio)
Measurables: 6-2 | 295
247Sports Composite: 4-star | 0.9667 | No. 75 Overall | No. 7 DT
Evaluation: Has a muscular, college-ready build. Does not have prototypical height or size, but the trade-off is that he will walk into a school ready to compete as a freshman. Plays with excellent motor and hustle. A hard worker in the weight room who carries that strength onto the field. Plays with a sturdy base and good balance. Has a low center of gravity and plays with good pad level to maximize leverage. Can move around the line some to play both the three and five-tech, but projects better long-term as a three. Main concern on him is the lack of length, height and overall growth potential. A safe pick because he will work hard, play hard and be productive, even if long-term upside is not as high as other highly ranked defensive tackles. Should be a very good college player, an all-conference type and while size may keep him from being a 1st or 2nd Round projection, is very comparable to similarly sized defensive tackles who have gone in the middle rounds the last few drafts. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu
NFL Draft projection: 4-7 Round (Day 3)
Player comparison: Sheldon Day | DT | San Francisco 49ers
