I don't know that I agree with you assessment of job quality


Clemson for example is a horrible job. They just don't care about basketball. Wake is not a bad job for the right coach. They have good academics and lots of money. They may not really care much ... but if they started to win ... they'd jump on board (ACC titles and NCSU, Clemson, Pitt and a few others would probably still draw yawns .. those are bad jobs).

Duke is a good job. Harder for a private school to build a fan base; but they will pay (under the table) to support a winner and admit anyone. UNC is imho the best job. They still have the golden Nike connection. UVA isn't much different from the men's program. A sleeping giant that just needs the right coach. ND is the same; but they have the right coach.

Unlike a few of the schools I've mentioned, a successful woman's coach at UVA would get huge institutional support. There are a lot of folks in VA who remember the good old days and would love to have a quality team to follow.
